Pro 8 Exclusive: Veterans museum to open soon?

By KGNS News

A veterans museum may soon open up in the Gateway City, this comes after an ongoing battle between the city and county.

Pro 8 News reporter Brenda Medina attended a meeting where both discussed this project.

County officials and some Laredoans are calling it a historic day.

Plans to build the veterans museum had been at a standstill, but after today's meeting both the city and county plan to move forward with the million-dollar project.

It's not a museum to local vets, it's an altar to the self-idolized farias family.

What veterans need is a hospital here in laredo not a museum.

I though the Chamber of Commerce changed Laredo's name away from the Gateway City. How about you guys check on that.
