Accused cable thief busted red-handed

A man is caught in the act stealing cable.

Thirty nine year old Julio Aleman is facing charges of criminal mischief, and interrupting public service.

Police reports state that a passerby saw Aleman on a pole trying to steal the connection.

When police arrived to the 2100 block of Main, he was caught in the act.

Officers called the cable company to notify them of the incident.

Aleman was arrested and taken to the Webb County Jail.
