The murder of 14 year old Ana Chavez has left quite an impression in our community. Asking people on the streets for their opinion, everyone we spoke to knew of the case. This is what they had to say.
"He has to pay for his actions. Let justice take care of him," says David Sanchez. "It's just horrific if a step-dad would do that to his step daughter," says Andrew Ramos. "A las mujeres por una razon o otra ques estan solas, que no tienen companero o esposo; que tengan quidado con los hijos. Entiendo que tienen necesidades, pero sus hijos son primeros," says Felicita Que. She says that women with children need to take care of their children and give them priority over their husbands.

He should be sentenced to death. Years in prison would not bring justice. Be ready to give up your life when you think you're big enough to take another. It's only fair.
