By KGNS News

Another Laredo student is also packing her luggage as she heads out to meet with national leaders in Washington, D.C.

Saint Augustine sophomore, Farahn Hughes is among few students across the country selected to partake in a national young leaders conference.

Students will have a chance to interact with personnel who operate the three branches of government as well as the international community.

Farahn Hughes says, “I would love to expand my knowledge about politics, learn about how policy is made, and bei a better leader to help make a difference in this world.”

Hughes is hoping to study law or medicine at Princeton University.
