Air conditioning system down at three County buildings

By KGNS News

It turned out to be a hot one for Webb County Employees. They had to endure the heat while at work today.

This happened after the air conditioners broke down, leaving three buildings without air.

The air conditioner at the Justice Center provides cold air to the jail and the County Courthouse.

According to reports, there was a leak in one of the lines.

You could see employees at Commissioner's Court this morning with fans, trying to deal with the heat inside the building.

They were able to fix the air conditioner by early afternoon.

Employees at the Justice Center were let go and the building was closed due to the temperature conditions inside.
