Tot found wandering the streets, teen sisters arrested

By KGNS News

The Laredo Police Department arrested two teenagers today for allegedly neglecting to take care of their little brother.
A caller alerted authorities about a three-year-old wandering the streets.
According to police reports the toddler was trying to cross Gale street by himself.
A passerby saw the child, who was barefoot, and prevented him from crossing the street.
Officers arrived to the scene and began looking for the boy's home.
According to the officers, the mother of the three-year-old had gone out with another child to a doctor's visit.
The mother told the two sisters who were asleep as at the time to take care of the three year old.
The toddler managed to get out of the house and ended up in a busy street.
Police arrested both sisters, one is 16-years-old, the other is identified as 17-year-old Yoseline Perez.
The mother was not arrested in this case because she left the child in the care of an adult who was 17-years-old.

His parents need to be questioned by the judge and perhaps also prosecuted. Time after time a mother states that her son didn't commit the crime, because "I didn't raise my son like that." Yes, she did. She enabled him, just like her excuse for him. Kids who don't know right from wrong don't just happen -- there is no parental control and those parents should also have to pay for horrendous crimes like this. Most likely, he had no counseling, no teacher conferences were attended and then, surprise, surprise, he turns out to be a monster. Duh!
