Drug bust at local motel

Webb County Sheriff's officials say a tip to CrimeStoppers led them to a drug bust at a Motel Nine.

Nineteen-year-old Ruben Arce Junior was arrested in connection with this drug seizure.

It happened around noon today. When investigators arrived they found 14.3 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $7,000.

They also found paraphernalia, baggies and other evidence.

Twenty-two of the plastic baggies were filled with marijuana.

Arce was inside of the motel room on the 2900 block of Saunders.
