Kids get ID's to help in case of an emergency

By KGNS News

Children got their finger prints and pictures taken this afternoon at the Sheriff department's child ID card event.
Many parents brought their kids to get ID'd in an effort to have information on file for law enforcement in case of an emergency.
The information on the ID card includes physical characteristics, a photo, and finger prints.
If a child goes missing, the ID card can provide valuable information to agencies working to locate and identify children.
The Sheriff's office says there is no cost for the program and children of all ages are invited to participate.
