Local clinic goes solar

By KGNS News

A local clinic is doing its part in going green and trying to save money at the same time.

The roof over at Mora Eye Clinic is covered in solar panels and using the sun’s energy as electricity.

Its something Doctor David Saul Mora and his wife decided to install in December.

They say high electricity prices convinced them to install the $200,000 system.

This may be the wave of the future I just hope that communities with restrictions will remove them. I do not think this will lower property values but enhance them with the savings on power.

Watch that documentary "Gasland", it will explain how hard it is to get solar panels, and why the price for them are so high.
