It's the laredo tradition of buying a beer or two and smokes after work they throwing it on the road thinking out of sight out of mind. Even if you put cans up and down the road they are just to stupid to use them. They don't know or care about the millions in tax payer dollars trying to keep our roads clean.

Easy solution.....do not smoke cigarretes. Everyone's health insurance will go down and there will be no more litter from the lazy people who throw the cigarette butts in the streets.

I urge you to try to find an ashtray in a supermarket. I usually have to go to the Family Dollar to get replacements (the glass kind). Then they whine about "litter"? Well, help us out and make ashtrays available! This didn't use to be the case, you could go to Target, Walmart, etc and find ashtrays readily, even some very nice glass kinds, but lately this has changed. Heck, even cars have done away with the cigarette lighters and ashtrays. So what does that tell you?! Keep your butts in the car? HOW?! Yes, you can get those cup holding ashtrays, but, try using one of them, usually the butts get stuck at the top and don't drop inside, which sometimes cause a little fire if the plastic starts to melt.

its just another way to say lets sc**** the smokers again. its time to move on with drinkers too. do you see the beer bottles? the butts were staged.
