Police prepare for a busy summer dealing with drug trafficking

By KGNS News

Laredo police take in two tons of marijuana in what they say has been a busy start to a summer season of drug dealing.

One of the busts included what police say is freshly harvested marijuana, the same kind they plan on seeing a lot of in the months ahead.

Annette Garcia filed her report.

How do those big bundles get there? Are they growing the weed and making bundles in the back yard? The border is well protected as to let those bundles cross the border? Maybe tunnels under the river?
