Actor Guild for Laredo

By KGNS News

A newly formed Laredo Actor’s Guild is encouraging local talent to pursue the arts.
Up until now those with dreams in entertainment have had little resources to guide them.
Organizers of the guild, Deanna Brochin and Cesar Marquez, say they’re here to help.
“The intention is to bring down acting coaches, directors, and provide workshops, stuff not available for people who want to pursue the arts, and encourage them to pursue their dreams in working in producing, film, directing, and let them know there are opportunities for them to pursue there dreams,” says Brochin.
Marquez adds, “It’s difficult, but we figured if we could get a community of actors working together, we could get more jobs, and see more people on film from Laredo. We are proud to be from Laredo. I know if they had the right direction they could go out and make it big.”
The guild will hold frequent meetings
