Air cargo services expanded to Laredo

By KGNS News

City leaders have announced the expansion of air cargo services at the Laredo International Airport.

The announcement was made this morning along with Northern Air Cargo president David Karp.

The air cargo company has been flying out of Laredo for over two years and representatives say expanding their services shows their commitment to the city.

The new air cargo service departs from Laredo four days a week Monday-through-Thursday in addition to current services.

The Northern Air Cargos' primary product going through Laredo is auto parts, which are flown to Detroit.

The company is based in Alaska but uses Laredo as a hub between Mexico and the United States.
