Alleged thief tries selling stolen phones online

By KGNS News

Police track down a batch of phones stolen from a local Best Buy after the alleged thief tries selling them on Craigslist.

Arrested in the case is Enrique Garza.

Police say Best Buy employees were the ones who spotted the recently stolen cell phones for sale on the classified website and passed information along to law enforcement.

A detective tracked down Garza who said he stole the phones because he needed money to pay bills.

He was taken to jail on a $5,000 bond for one count of theft.
