Attorney George Altgelt Running For Commissioner

By KGNS News

Attorney George Altgelt held an organizational meeting at his law office to discuss his run for County Commissioner in Precinct 3.

He said it was like a town hall meeting because he wanted to hear residents' concerns to better define the issues that are most important for Webb County.

George Altgelt said, "The most thing for us to do is listen and have dialogue with constituents of Precinct Three. I have my own ideas of what I'd like to see happen but most important at this time is to listen."

Altgelt says he will continue to have these type of meetings and asks residents to contact his office if they have any concerns they want him to deal with.

The primaries take place March of 2012.

Really???? "The most thing for us to do,,,," He said that?? Please tell me that he was miss-quoted or there was a typo. Ifin he does talk like that, the State Bar Association must have taken a huge intellectual hit.

George actually said, "The most important thing for us to do..." Pro8 News is notorious for miss-quotes. Just replay the video on this website.

Actually, it was directed at Pro Late Nudes for a lack of attention to detail when it comes to proof reading a copy and for the editor being asleep at the wheel. Good luck to this guero. Hope he makes a difference.
