Border Patrol Chief promoted to new position

By KGNS News

The head of the U.S. Border Patrol in Laredo, Robert Harris, announces his new position.

For the past two years, he's been the chief of Border Patrol.

Harris held a press conference to discuss his new role as commander of CBP of South Texas and also to introduce his successor.

This new position went into effect a few months ago.

Harris says he will strategically address border safety threats in South Texas.

We are getting to be just like Mexico, where they hire 100 people to sweep streets by hand when one machine could do the job of 200. This is the government union at it's best. Create a new position so that the old position can be held by someone else. If it weren't for BP and customs our veterans would not have any work at all.

The addition of links in a chain lessens its tensile strength when tension is applied; generally causing it to snap in the middle or at any other weak link.

Awesome, a new position of higher power, more pay, and less work!! That's an easy way of creating jobs!! Everyone should do that. Janitors hire assistants that only do toilets, mechanics hire people just to lift the car, teachers hire someone just to test their students or to keep them quiet! LOL ps. Ima hire someone to replace my alarm clock to wake me up in the morning and if I slap them, they snooze for 9 min!!
