"subject verb agreement" "speak & talk" and obviously you dont even know the difference between YOUR & YOU'RE. elementary stuff!! But its ok i dont speak, talk (whaatever you chOose) OR WRITE what i dont know.

And for those of you who think this show will be a miracle worker that will bring us more resources, I beg to differ. One look at how these so-called professionals behave and talk, and the ones in power in Washington will just think more lowly of us and turn away. Just because the criminals talk ghetto doesn't mean the cops should. As a matter of fact, exhibiting proper command of the language (whether it's English or Spanish) would make them sound more authoritative (the criminals don't speak it, but they can still understand enough of it!). Another thing, just because many in Laredo are overweight doesn't mean our law enforcement officials should too. Hey, they are supposed to be able to run, leap, etc. to get the job done.

I'll usually agree with the fact that Pro 8 News repeats a news story too much and tries to make something out of nothing, but in the case of the K9, we're talking about a breathing, living (at the time) creature who died a slow, horrible death trapped in the heat of the inside of that car! At least nobody died in the incident at National Night Out, but it was a huge, unforgivable failure on the part of the very people who are supposed to keep the community safe. Yeah, the cops and their friends and families would love to sweep it all under the rug already; well, not going to happen! As for the show, anyone else finding it stupid that they're putting their faces and the vehicles they use on air for everyone to see and later recognize? Won't this make them more of a target for the cartels?

Borderwars & cops hand select their agents! They are not going to put their heaviest agents on TV and they sure as hell aren't going to put an agent that has an accent! This show is good because it's unscripted and no actors! Let's get real, we grew up in a city that speaks Tex-Mex that's our reality!

I know they dont do the same as these fat narcotic unit, but I have never seen a bp agent or an investigator talk like these GHETTO laredo cops!! And also havent seen a FAT bp agent!! (on the show) i know the criminals (or however ppl want to call them) dont talk "right" but that doesnt mean that the "tv star" cops need to talk the same way!!! So NOT professional!! Theres ways to talk to these ppl but not like THAT... But those are laredo cops end of story.

Ok, so the guys are over weight, but do so is 2/3s of Laredo, get over it! This is our reality, this is happening in our city, why hide it! Maybe Washington will see what we are dealing with and provide more $$$$ to help protect our city! As far as the way they speak, they are catching the scum that roams Laredo, how else would you have them speak to them... Some how I doubt that if a cop stops a drug dealer and says "excuse me sir but could I please arrest you for all the drugs that you have in the rear bed of your truck?" would be highly effective! Yes, the music, the opening and vocabulary could be better but this is reality not CSI!!!

First Law enforcement professionals put a 50 cal rifle loaded at a family event where a child fires it. then a so called law enforcement professional leaves his dog inside the car which dies a cruel death. then this show comes out showing illiterate professionals depicting laredo as a drug infested violent place on a nationwide popular media platform. then you need to answer this question. is laredo shinning? plus the sad reality is all this happened within 30 days. less than a month. is laredo Shinning?

There is no sense to what they are trying to show. This has been going on for years, why now? They showed the ugliest parts of town? What, is there nothing happening on the north side of town???? The show is pathetic, all this non-sense about the indicencies of the beer runs, why would they even go there. Laredo officials should put a stop to it, now we really look like those skimpy ugly towns in some areas of Mexico. Shame Shame Shame. Oh and the language, whay to they think they look gooo?

Where do I start.... I'm so glad this show came out. This show lets the nation know how much in need border security is one of the biggest issues we have. To the people that criticize about how the show puts the city down and how come they think people wont visit the city because of the drugs and violence, blah blah blah. quit wining. people don't visit Laredo because we don't have nice upkeep infrastructure downtown, or any things thats a "Wow I want to go to Laredo because they have everything to do there" Convert a part of downtown like a mercado or name it "little mexico" and bring their culture. then you will have a little part of mexico here and people will visit. anyways getting back on track. PD did a great job. For the amount of members in the narcotics unit they are doing a great job. Dont get me wrong it does suck we dont have all the available resources to do all the work but the job is getting done. As for the cops looking like pachucos.... see part 2

So pro 8 is asking if this show shines a negative light.......they might want to look at themselves and how many times they REPEAT the news. If there is anyone shining a negative light on Laredo its Pro 8 for repeating the K9 story so many times in such a short period of time. Pro 8 must pick a side, 1st they repeat the unfortunate K9 ACCIDENT (that took the DA's time to have to confirm that it was indeed an accident) 3 million times then, they report this show like if they are all proud of it??!! Is there something wrong with this picture??? If anyone shines a negative light its this news cast with their repetitive news. And @ "old laredoean" Do you really think these criminals speak like "professionals"? The fact that the officers use fowl language doesn't make them any less, I'm sure it comes with the territory so get over it! If you are so perfect then why aren't you part of that team? And yes, I do agree that these men are over weight but does that really out weigh the good???

"Wrong" I can barely understand you, but I see no problems with the "small casinos" in Laredo. It's just a bunch of elderly, disabled people wasting their SSI checks on gambling. That is their problem not your or mine. The city should legalize them and tax them, easy peesy lemon squeezy.
