After weeks of investigating, police finally catch up with the suspects of what is believed to be a major auto theft ring in Laredo.
For one of the suspects, it's the second time he gets arrested in less than a week. This time, he was arrested for trying to cross a stolen car into Mexico. A rash of burglaries in northwest Laredo led to the investigation of these suspects. Previously, four were arrested after stealing several vehicles and items from the inside of other cars. The cars were primarily stolen in La Bota Ranch. Saturday night, 17 year old Michael Archuleta and 17 year old Jonathan Blanco were arrested around 10:40 PM at the bridge. Police say Blanco actually stated that the vehicle he and Archuleta were in was a 2011 black Nissan Frontier stolen from the Plantation area.
Both were arrested for engaging in organized criminal activity.

Arrested for organized criminal activity, so LPD and city officials' corruption is disorganized criminal activity.
