Charges filed for driver accused of fleeing accident scene

Formal charges have been placed against a man accused of causing a series of crashes and even hitting a child, while trying to flee the scene of an accident Friday afternoon.
Arrested is 20-year-old Amando Ariel Chapa. He's charged with accident causing injury and accident causing damage.
It comes from an incident earlier today where he allegedly hit a pick-up truck along Del Mar Boulevard.
A witness says Chapa then hit other vehicles and even jumped up on the sidewalk a bit and hitting a girl in her early teens walking by.
We're told the victim was taken to Doctors Hospital in stable condition.
