It's been under renovation for months but Laredoans can expect a newly updated pool at the Civic Center this summer.
The facility looks as if it still has work to be done before opening up, but the City Parks and Recreation spokesperson says this $250,000 project is 70% complete.
He says it should be ready to go by Memorial Day in May.
The pool has been upgraded to a heated pool and will be staying open year-round.
The pool was originally closed down after it was vandalized months ago.
More water pumps have also been added to back up the pool's maintenance system.

70% finished means 100% closed lol. until they finish. which could take them who knows how long. that would be awesome, an indoor waterpark. like the one in japan. maybe we can buy it from them at a cheap price. lol
