Cartel attack? Please said on Sunday, Oct 30 at 7:57 PM
Cartels only attack those who try to take their money/drugs away. They aren't wasting their time on breaking into your car nor home.

I leave my car doors open, my radio, my garden tractor and my cell, I never had any problems, Except with stupid neighbors with pitbulls. Security starts at home, yes and pitbulls in Laredo are a threat to the citizens more than the violence in Mexico.

They are trying to politicize the border area by making it look like our border is not safe. We have 10,000 border patrols, law enforcement both in the city and county. Next they will want to build forts along the river if the rest of America thinks its a big problem. Fear mongers.

Locks keep an honest man honest… For a thief, it is a minor inconvenience.

I'd also like to add, why not leave your car door, hell your front door unlocked if you feel Laredo is a safe place to live. No where is a safe place. They are already here (cartels) they are just calculating their attack.

"Hit the fan"? R you one of our city officials or the Mayor perhaps, since when do the drug cartels give a flying rats behind about the quiet enjoyment and peaceful living of the people in Mexico, let alone the peaceful living of Laredoens. Yes, we live in a world of peace and harmony with all th elittle birdies flying in the sky (I'm being sarcastic). This is why we are not getting nor will we get any help from the government when the fecal matter hits the freakin fan because of ignorant people like you.

No I dont think so, The Anglos are a world apart to be the mayority in the border areas, the only thing left for them is to declare these regions a "war zone" send the militia and vigilantes or security private contractors (mercenaries) and intimidate the Mexican Aemerican people and to built obstacles to the voters and try to regain the political regions under Anglo politicians. Hey Mr. General.. You are still living in the 1950's wonderland.
