Laredo Police identify a woman accused of setting police on a chase after rampaging through a local neighborhood.
Police have placed multiple charges on her and found alcohol was not a factor.
Police first spotted 25 year old Mariana Ramirez when she slammed into a vehicle on Interstate-35. A police that saw the accident attempted to stop her but she reportedly evaded officers initiating a chase.
She took off and then ran into two parked trucks in the one thousand block of Ortiz Street.
Police had initially thought Ramirez was drunk but after investigating they concluded she was not.
Ramirez was arrested on charges of wreckless driving an accident involving damage to vehicle striking a fixed object and two counts for striking an unattended vehicle.
