Early voting totals in for District Seven race

Election day is this Saturday in the race for City Council District Seven.

At just a little over 700 ballots cast as of Thursday, early voting in this special election seemed to be slow but officials say the total was actually higher than the last special election a few years ago.

While Early Voting is over, Election Day is set for Saturday.

Elections administrators are urging everyone in District Seven to head out to the polls.

Anywhere from six to 700 people are expected to vote on Saturday.
