Bad Weather Grounds Flight In Laredo

The bad weather across the south part of the country forces an Allegiant aircraft to land in Laredo.

The aircraft 757 aircraft was headed to McAllen from Vegas.

Laredo airport officials said on-board the training flight were 15 FAA and Allegiant crew members.

The airline recently purchased 6 of the 757 aircrafts and is ensuring everything is up to par before using it for commercial passenger flights.

On the larger planes Allegiant plans to offer flights to Hawaii and international destinations including Mexico.
