Freer Teen Funeral

     We start our newscast with a follow to the tragic story of a young boy killed in Freer, TX. Friends and family gathered today to mourn the loss of Eden Gonzalez.

     Funeral services were held today for the 14 year old boy. He was shot and killed during a hunting accident earlier this week. Police believe Eden Gonzalez was accidentally shot by a friend. According to his obituary, the 8th grader had a passion for hunting and was a member of the Duval shooting sports team, as well as the football team and 4-H club. His funeral took place this morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

     As of now police are ruling the incident an accident, however an investigation is ongoing.
