LCC celebrates continued expansion

Officials with Laredo Community College celebrated yet another milestone Monday morning as they put the last beam for a new building into place.

The academic building will be about 111,000 square feet and will be the only three-story building on the Laredo Community College campus. It's estimated to cost $14.7 million dollars.

The college also accepted a one million dollar check from the Lewis Energy Group for the purchase of furniture and classroom equipment for the building.
