Laredo Finally Sees Rain!

Most of Laredo woke up to the sound of rain falling on rooftops, a welcoming sound after what's been a very dry and very hot couple of months. Dark clouds, even lightening filled the skies over Laredo as rain finally began to fall. Puddles of water were left behind after a first wave of showers fell.
Later, another round of rain had people taking out the umbrellas on their way to lunch. Ranchers and owners of local feed stores say the rain is welcome news. It’s been 28 days since any kind of rain fell in Laredo.
