N.L. Firefighters Perform Emergency Baby Delivery

By KGNS News

Two firefighters from Nuevo Laredo had to leave their lunch halfway through to attend an emergency that they were not at all expecting.
According to the two firefighters, they were eating at a taco stand in Colonia Victoria when two kids - ages five and six - asked for their help.
At the corner, their mother was giving birth, and the firefighters rushed to help the woman.
The 23 year old gave birth to a baby girl named Miranda Lizbeth.
The firefighters say they were there at the right time and at the right moment because the little one had the umbilical cord around her neck.
The baby and the mother were taken to the hospital and are doing just fine.
