New Details in Death of Omar Cardenas

The Laredo Police Department released more details on the accident that led to the death of 9-year-old Omar Cardenas.
We're told the driver of a Dodge Durango tried to avoid hitting a vehicle that had stopped in front of them along Loop 20.
The driver allegedly hit a 1998 Dodge Minivan leaving Casa Blanca Lake, then hit an 18-wheeler.
The child was ejected from the Durango and was flown to a San Antonio Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The case is currently under investigation.
No one has been charged as of Tuesday, March 20.
