Nine-year-old boy critical after major accident

A major traffic accident this evening sends a young boy to the hospital, fighting for his life.

It happened at around 7:30 Friday evening on the 5200 block of Loop 20 by Laredo’s international airport.

We're told by officials it was a three-car collision and that a nine-year-old boy was ejected from one of those vehicles.

He was transported to the Laredo Medical Center in critical condition.

The Laredo police crash team is investigating that accident.

I hear that the little boy will be removed from the respirator tonight. My prayers and condolences to all families involved. seat belts are of utmost importance for ALL occupants in a vehicle. However, it is an accident and no one should feel blamed. Hearts and prayers.

This was an accident there is no need to blame the parents ppl. Show sum respect for the deceased boy n his family. To the family of this beautiful Angel im sorry for ur loss n i will pray for u all so that god can give u the strength to keep going.
