It's not a pretty sight for many drivers as gas prices continue to rise. Unfortunately for most, they're reportedly not expected to be going down any time soon.
Some prices from around the city are as high as $2.99 for regular unleaded.
Taking a look into other places, there are some stations offering unleaded at $2.93 per gallon, on Del Mar and McPherson in North Laredo.
There are even better deals at some stations selling the regular at $2.87 per gallon at HEB on loop 20.

almost free, What an ignorant statement to make. When Bush was in office, it was his fault. He's out of office, and it's the Republican's fault. Why don't you look at what the liberal democrats do in their war against oil? What about Obama's moratorium on off shore drilling? Why don't the liberals allow us to explore oil reserves in our country? Look at the rising economies of China and India. Educate yourself before you make moronic statements.

El Metro has less routes now, costs more, and they are old as heck. Probably stink like an old woman's shoe. Yeah, not worth it.

Right. I'm going to burn 4 gallons of gas to save 10 cents a gallon by going to HEB loop 20. I'll bet there are people stupid enough to think like that.

Not to be pointing at the problem but once the Republicans took control back....GAS prices went up!! No spills, no hurricanes, etc...?
