Officers on 'lake traffic duty' as thousands expected at Casa Blanca

Laredoans are getting ready for Easter celebrations, and for some it means heading out to the lake.
This year, police are once again reminding park visitors to be aware of all the rules before heading out to Lake Casa Blanca.
Laredo police and officials of Casa Blanca State Park are gearing up for yet another year of bumper to bumper traffic, as thousands are expected to head out to the lake this Easter Sunday.
“There will be officers monitoring traffic overnight and into early morning hours of Easter,” says Officer Joe Baeza.
Officers on 'lake traffic duty' will be sent out Saturday night, setting strict rules for motorists.
“There will not be anybody allowed to stand idle or park on the shoulder leading into the entrance of the park. People headed southbound on the loop will not be allowed to turn left into the park from the loop.”
The park will open up at 6 a.m. Sunday, and no one will be allowed to line up to enter until one hour before.
“My other understanding from people who work at the park is that they see people who came unprepared to pay at the booth.”
Police say the goal is simply to alleviate traffic, and prevent any accidents.
The entrance fee is 4 dollars per person for ages 13 and up.
Children 12 and under get in free.

well friend, thats part of it (resurrection) its also about when Jesus came into this world and establish his kingdom, miracles, and died in the cross like a bad criminal with the sins of all mankind. But as always satan tries to put people away from God and he has succeded at some point. Eostre the goddess of fertility , from greek mythology...thats how easter started in back in time in northern England.. google it .. God bless

I thought it was the resurrection of Jesus? But the rabbit and eggs are symbols of fertility, hence originally it was a fertility holiday, SO GO OUT AND MAKE BABIES! Hmm Resurrection of Jesus with the resurrection of a new baby, I can see SOME similarity, although not much.
