City and County leaders now say they will work together to bring a resolution to a problem we first told you about last night.
Wormser Road in South Laredo hadn't been used too often until the new Cuatro Vientos road recently opened, connecting many areas in South Laredo, but the heightened traffic began creating problems for residents.
They say dust was covering homes and cars and the dark road became a site for dumping, and even about a week ago, a suspect who used the road as an escape route late one night allegedly shot at authorities.
Residents had asked that someone please pave the road, hoping other problems would slowly fade.
County Commissioners say the road does belong to Webb County and are trying to find a resolution.
The issue will also be brought up at next week's City Council meeting.

Tell me about it, it's either out of sheer laziness or cowardness that we have these ridiculous news stories. I would like to hear about Mr. Santos "raise". Come on man where is the real news. No one wants to hear about a cat festival or some unemployed man chasing ghosts.
