Well for some time now we've told you about the thousands of paisanos making their passage to Mexico through Laredo hoping to spend the holidays with their families. But that not going to happen for many them stuck here, some in spending the night in cars on Christmas Eve. It’s our top story at ten. This is what the nationalization agencies are looking like tonight. They are still filled with vehicles that have not been nationalized. Some people have managed to get paper work and cross the border, others are tonight staying in hotels. But not all paisanos have been so fortunate. This man tells us “There are still a few famlies staying inside there vehicles in this cold weather. They couldn’t afford a hotel or they couldn’t find occupancy. Others just don’t want to leave their belongings fearing it will get stolen. There are some children here”. Another stranded paisano says “I never expected to be stuck in Texas, in the border. I never thought this was gonna happen, and neither did my sister. It is really frustrating but there’s really nothing we can do about it”. Paisanos we spoke to hope they will be able to leave by Tuesday.. This after procedures to nationalize there vehicles changed this year, procedures many paisanos were not aware of.
