Although the flood waters have dissipated there are still many present dangers for residents in those neighborhoods.
Residents living in Los Martinez Dr. in West Laredo are dealing with the presence of pests and other animals left behind by the flood. People could be seen patrolling their property with a stick, poking and prodding areas around their homes where there may be pests.
A member of the neighborhood clean-up crew says the pests are only the beginning of the issues facing flood victims.
Clean-up crews say there is a lot of work to be done and they can always use volunteers.
