Police looking for new leads in murder case

By KGNS News

Police are releasing new information regarding a murder from earlier this year in an effort to develop new leads.

Forty-nine-year-old Jorge Villanueva was shot and killed at the Hillside Apartments last month in January.

Police say residents living in the area heard gunshots and reported seeing men wearing masks and hoodies.

Witnesses say the two thin men of medium height were also speaking Spanish.

Police say the case is drug related, and urge anyone with information to call 795-2800 or 727-tips.

All calls will remain anonymous and you could be eligible for a cash reward for any information leading to an arrest.
