Police search for women accused of stealing cash from wallet

By KGNS News

Two women are wanted for questioning after a wallet is allegedly stolen from a local grocery store.

Police say a customer left his wallet on the counter of the Super S Foods on Clark Street, which was picked up by two women behind him in line.

Officers say the women actually went to the man's house to return the wallet.

He claims he planned on giving the women a reward but when he opened the wallet, he found over $500 in cash missing.

Police say they are looking for the women to question them about the situation.

Call police if you have any information.

It does not make sense for them to turn in the wallet after taking the money. I think he just wants to pull a fast one on them. Like they said no good deed goes unpunished. Only my opinion of course.
