Raids Lead to Arrest and Shrine Discovery

By KGNS News

Nearly four years after the City began cracking down on the maquinita industry, facilities continue to break the law and police continue to make arrests.
Laredo Police raid two eight liners after weeks of undercover work.
Investigators confiscated a total of almost 20 thousand dollars after a raid in two separate places late last night.
Officers busted in on the Lucky Alley. That's where they tell us the money was seized as well as 70 gambling motherboards.
All this, led to the arrest of a woman, Oralia Vargas, charged with gambling promotion.
Then at the Imperial Palace 45 motherboards were seized. In addition to thousands of dollars also found were all these shrines to the Santisima Muerte. At Imperial Palace Juan Antonio Lozano was arrested.
Police say undercover officers posed as customers for weeks and were paid out in cash, rather than in cash prices.

Some...more like all of them. I find it unbelieveable that this kind of establishments get raided and find this kind of cash around. Sounds and stinks more of illegal activities.
