The National Weather Service also says that the high winds may also affect driving conditions. No word yet, however, if that may have impacted a roll over earlier this afternoon, landing three people in the hospital. Laredo Police shut down south bound lanes on I-35 shortly after the roll over occured. An SUV and a car colliding causing the SUV to flip. The door of the car actually ripped off, as you can see it thrown on the street right here. No word yet as to who is at fault in that accident. The driver of one of the vehicles refused treatment and transportation.
In the second vehicle, three people were taken to L-M-C to be checked out.
We do believe that some of those involved in the accident may have been paisanos. There were bags of clothes that flew out onto the highway. Paisanos are traveling down from up north to stay with families in Mexico over the holidays.

All that is required to drive in Laredo is that you can reach the gas pedal. Breaks are optional.
