Sara Walls Returns to Laredo

Several locals were outraged by a YouTube video degrading the hometown of Laredo citizens.
That viral video caused a lot of controversy in the gateway city and the woman who made that video returned to Laredo today.
It was the YouTube video posted by Sara Walls that caused the mayor to speak out to the public; the video that made several Laredo officials fly to Kentucky to congratulate a man who defended the city with another YouTube video; the video that caused her husband to come on Pro 8 News to apologize to the citizens of Laredo.
Her husband told us she left town, but she returned today with a U-Haul truck to officially move out.
Pro 8 News attempted to speak to Sara Walls, but she refused to talk and slammed her car door on us.
Her husband Michael Walls, who originally apologized for the video, told us Sara did not wish to speak to us.
"We're not worried about the bad press, we don't care what people think."
Most people didn't wish to comment on Sara Walls leaving, but one neighbor said he has never met the Walls’ before and didn't know they lived in his neighborhood.
He had heard, however, about her YouTube video degrading Laredo.
"The woman.....says some things about the cochinos and menudo celebration but I don't know these people."
So as vocal as Sara Walls was on her YouTube video, the only memory she left on this day was a goodbye Laredo in the form of a slammed door.

Many of the things she said were true, but she made it sound like it's the way it is because it's inhabited by Mexicans, and that's where the problem is. Crime, trash and bad drivers are everywhere. She made it sound like it's only us, plus she trashed our beloved traditions. But, I'll also say enough attention has been given to her by the media.

Why arnt the people of Laredo worried about the drug deals going on behind HEB, or the killings having to do with gangs, or how the city is lined with trash and graffiti, or the thieves steeling from super markets?!?!?! Sara walls is one girl with white skin, and an opinionated mouth! You people trash her like she's a villen! Its not like she's the presidents daughter, or some kind of famous actor! Give her a break! After all Laredo Texas is exactly if not worse then what she has described! Explain to me why people have metal bars covering every window, or enclose their front door with what looks like a cage, or put those things on their steering wheel so someone can't steel their car when they go into the post office, or why every one says to stay away from the border especially at night!Common Laredo face it your the trash not Sara walls!!! She clearly looks like an angry, wretched, miserable person and I'd bet it's not just because of the cameras and negative attention. When someone is as hateful as she is, it just shows. If there were to be any real change, Laredo would need to be blasted back into the stone age and teach the people how to walk semi-erect. From that point, they could be taught family values and courtesy to their neighbors. Once those lessons have been learned, Laredo might not be that bad a place.

This city continues to amaze me! The way city officials and ignorant citizens have handled this entire incident has become an embarrassment. I cant believe someone actually paid to fly city representatives to Kentucky to give some white dude fajitas and a key to the city. What other city in America would be willing to do something so ridiculous. The whole thing is just a joke! Let it go already people, it isn't necessary to prove to the world that the comments Sara made were justifiable. Laredo, I beg you to stop showing your stupidity and narrow mindedness. What an unworthy use of a news organization which you really aren't cause the stories you follow aren't even the ones your community want investigated and the stuff you should follow up on you don't. Leave her alone and go deeper into stuff that matters. everyday laredo proves her more and more right.
