Sex abuse victim identifies the alleged suspect

A 65-year old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl.

According to authorities, the victim identified Humberto Chavarria as her abuser.

Police say the man in known to the girl’s family.

Chavarria was arrested at his house on one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact and aggravated assault of a child -forcible rape.

He was taken to jail on a combined total bond of $500,000.
