Stabbing Assault Update

There is new information today regarding a stabbing that happened late Friday evening . Police say an investigation is now underway. It appears the victim may have unintentionally walked into a bad situation. The stabbing happened around 9:00 P.M. yesterday evening near Ryan Elementary. Authorities say the 21 year old, Peter Dominguez, was walking with his girlfriend by the school when he came across someone he knew. Police say they began arguing over a vehicle when the other men arrived at the scene and began to assault Dominguez. It was then that someone pulled out a knife and stabbed Dominguez in the lower back. No arrests have been made. The victim is currently in stable condition.
