It's not only the way it looks or the horrible smell this trash is producing, but also the anti-sanitary conditions that are worrying neighbors on the 300th block of Hidalgo Street.
Old furniture, rotten milk gallons, and even nails pointing up sit on the side walk of the Rodriguez Apartments.
Neighbors who chose not to be on camera say this build up has been sitting there for weeks and was worse than it is now.
The business manager says trash comes from neighbors moving from the complex who leave their old belongings behind.
"They stop renting the apartment and leave behind all the stuff they don't want anymore. They [ the renters] are hurting us"
According to Ignacio Nuñez the City of Laredo helped him in taking some of the build up but to take the rest he needs to hire personnel on his own.
"That's the situations. We need to be hiring personnel to help us remove all the mess."
Regardless of the cost, he says he himself is tired of the trash, and the smell.
He is planning on having the sidewalk cleaned as soon as possible.
"Today if possible."

I don't suppose talking to the owner would do any good. Another dumb, incomplete story from the worst news ever. Your a laughing stock.

Just go down to San Augustin Plaza get some workers and rent a rolloff dumpster. The problem is the apartment owner doesn't want to pay. Probably didn't get fined because he has a compadre that works for the city.

Owner wants to rent out slum property and not take any responsibility for clean-up.
