Woman Shot in South Laredo

By KGNS News

Laredo police still at the scene of a south Laredo shooting. The victim, a 39 year old female, rushed to the hospital in serious condition after being shot at the corner of South Bartlett and Santa Clara Street. Ambulances transported the woman to Laredo Medical Center. People in that neighborhood say they heard six gunshots fired.

Officers are still investigating what happened, but tell us they believe the shooting happened inside the home. Just across the street, neighbors were holding a prayer meeting at the time of the incident. While we do know that police took one person in for questioning, no arrests have made as of yet.
