Overnight Crash Claims Motorcyclist Life

A major crash in north Laredo claims the life of a 20-year-old man.

It happened around 3 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Hilltop Road and Michigan Avenue.

At this time it's not clear exactly how the accident happened but we're told the driver somehow lost control of his motorcycle causing him to slam into a fence in that area.

Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital in critical condition.

Laredo police have confirmed that the motorcyclist has passed away from his injuries.

He is identified as 20-year-old Wilford Collins.
