Samuel L. Jackson furious for 'Iron Man 2'
Samuel L. Jackson has signed a long-term deal to play Marvel superhero Fury in a slew of upcoming films including the sequel to 2008 hit "Iron Man," reports said Thursday.
Jackson, the 60-year-old star of "Pulp Fiction" and the final three "Star Wars" films, appeared as superspy Nick Fury in a brief cameo towards the end of last year's "Iron Man" starring Robert Downey Jr.
Talks to reprise the role however had stalled however over disagreement concerning terms for Jackson.
Daily Variety said an agreement had now been thrashed out that would see Jackson play Fury in "Iron Man 2" with an option to also appear in up to nine other Marvel superhero films, including "Captain America," and "Thor."
Jackson was most recently seen in comic book film "The Spirit" and drama-comedy "Soul Men."
