The stage was being set up just a short while ago, while the crowd waits for "La Mafia" to appear. This after Sames Motors handed out 10,000 tickets for free. There's another band entertaining the crowd right now. Why the free concert?
Sames Ford is celebrating 100 years in business. They say they wanted to pay Laredo back for supporting the local dealership through the years, even after these tough economic times.
“We have to stick together in good times and in bad times. Good times always come back around. People still like to buy cars. Sometimes we have to forget about the bad times and just enjoy yourself a little bit.
Sames Ford is the longest running dealership in the country and oldest family owned dealership in Texas. "La Mafia" should be taking the stage any minute now.
