Strings were strumming in unison tonight as a Christmas tradition hit TAMIU.
We're talking about Guitarras De Navidad in it's tenth years. A magical performance over at the center for the fine and performing arts recital hall. The program draws from the sounds of the season and features the TAMIU classical guitar ensemble, directed by Dr. Gilberto D. Soto, professor of music education. The ensemble is comprised of university students. They all share experience in reading and performing guitar literature for instrumental ensembles playing throughout the year at various community functions.
