The Laredo Main Street is keeping is making some fresh changes to their Farmers Market. Allison Flores, Laredo Main Street Market Director, shares what upcoming changes we can look forward to. The next Farmers Market is Saturday, January 21, at Jarvis Plaza in downtown Laredo. It opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 12:00 PM.
Free trolley rides will be offered starting at the Farmers Market, where Jesus Najar, with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will offer a free "Mosaic of Faith Tour" where he will narrate the importance of several religious and historic buildings downtown. It will be offered at three different times 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 AM.
New vendors will also be present including an Austin vendor selling organic and gluten-free tamales with vegan options.
