All city of Laredo administrative offices will be closed on Friday in observance of Independence Day.
The city landfill will also be closed. There is no regular garbage or recycling pick-up on Friday.
The Laredo public library will also be closed through Sunday.
The municipal court will also be closed.
And el metro bus service will run on a Sunday schedule.
All administrative offices will re-open on Monday.
And all Webb county administrative offices will be closed on Friday as well.
The holiday closures include the county tax assessor collector's office.
The sheriff's department will continue all services on its regular schedule.
